I have been working on the Web for well over ten years now, which makes me an old man in net years, but there is always more to learn and new inventions/features that come and go.  This is fun for me because I am a “techie,” but it can be a nightmare for the “non-techie.”

Knowing what I know and based on the experience I have, I feel bad for people who are trying to negotiate the new and unfamiliar World Wide Web. Other techies can be downright hostile to the newcomer, not to mention the hackers and scammers who relish the opportunity to ravage a naive newby.

Because I am sympathetic and enjoy working with non-techies, I have created this service to help people get on the web easily, safely, smartly and inexpensively.
